About Journal
The Administrative Science Quarterly (ASQ) aims at publishing a strong empirical and theoretical research that advances in the understanding of administration. The editor must ask about any manuscript: does this work to (1) advance understanding, (2) address administration, (3) have mutual relevance for empirical investigation and theoretical analysis? The manuscript must have theory. Authors should strive to produce a manuscript which contains an interesting issue that has something new.

Submission Process
Submissions should be sent via email at: asq-submit@johnson.cornell.edu

General Guidelines for Authors
Manuscripts must be submitted as a single Microsoft Word file which includes the title page and information of authors. Type the title on the abstract page so that the title page can be removed to preserve the authors’ anonymity. The file should include the abstract, references, tables and figures. The Abstract should be of 100 words. Submitted manuscript must be in double-spaced pages with 12-points font size. Put the tables or figures each on separate pages after the references and include a note (i.e., insert table 1 about here) at the point in text where they are referenced.

References
Put all reference alphabetically by author. List the authors’ last names and initials. Do not use italics or abbreviations. Use one tab between the date and the title. See examples:
