About Journal
The Journal of Environmental Economics and Management publishes theoretical and empirical papers devoted to specific natural resources and environmental issues. For consideration, papers should (1) contain a substantial element embodying the linkage between economic systems and environmental and natural resources systems or (2) be of substantial importance in understanding the management and/or social control of the economy in its relations with the natural environment. Although the general orientation of the journal is toward economics, interdisciplinary papers by researchers in other fields of interest to resource and environmental economists will be welcomed. The journal is intended to be of interest not only to research economists but also to the scientific community concerned with resource and environmental management research.

General Guidelines for Authors
Manuscripts should be double-spaced throughout on one side of 8.5 x 11-inch or A4 while paper. Pages should be numbered consecutively as follows:
The Title Page (p. 1) should contain the article title, authors' name and complete affiliations, footnotes to the title, a running title of less than 50 characters, and the address for manuscript correspondence (including e-mail address and telephone and fax numbers).
The Abstract Page (p. 2) must contain the article title and a single paragraph abstract summarizing the main findings of the paper in less than 150 words. After the abstract a list of up to 10 key words that will be useful for indexing or searching should be included. No identifying information, such as the authors' names or affiliations, may appear on this page (or within the remainder of the document).
The main body of the paper should start on the third page. Tables should be numbered consecutively with Roman numerals in order of appearance in the text. Type each table double-spaced on a separate page with a short descriptive title typed directly above and with essential footnotes below.

References:
References may be cited in the text by Arabic numerals in brackets, e.g., [1], [2], etc. or by the use of author-date, e.g. Arrow (1971); the latter style is preferred. Journal titles may be listed in full; abbreviations are also allowable, see "Abbreviations of Names of Serials" reviewed in Mathematical Reviews (Mathematical Reviews Annual Index. American Mathematical Society, 1990) for format.
